I was looking for a phone number in an old note book. I chanced up on a mistake: COPD – I wrote it out as Chronic Obstructive Disease (omitting the word Pulmonary). Aren’t we all afflicted with this – a type of obstructive disease? Blocking out, not letting in. Not thinking, reflecting, ‘seeing’. Because if you don’t see it – or get it – it wont mean anything to you. Isn’t this how we create meaning – from awareness. Actively noticing, internalising, knowing.

Although sometimes, what we don’t note tells us another story. Either way I still haven’t found that number.
