Every time I visit my brother in law I can’t help noticing the lounge in his family’s home is never used. Ever. It’s presented to the visitor like at a fixture at a museum. It says have a look, feel free to come closer but don’t touch. It’s in a 3 bedroom apartment in Mexico City. There’s not a lot of space and I don’t image the rent is cheap. So this is prime space that’s not being used. Well actually taking a closer look it is being used and what’s more it’s playing an active and highly significant role.
